Angel

Dear Friends,

Remember me?

What a summer it has been so far. I have been so busy in the store, doing inventory, selecting new products, re-arranging, and what not. You'd think those adult two-leggers would do some of that stuff, wouldn't you? Anyways, I had the chance to escape to the beach for a few days, which was fabulous for my fur! You should see me now!

This last Saturday my friends Bella & Cecilia came to visit me. They are practically as famous as me, you know? They are models & movie stars. I hope they'll help spread the word about me. On top of that, Bella plays the violin, and Cecilia plays the ukulele. I do so very much appreciate friend of cultural standing!

Besides that, Cecilia likes to throw me in the air and catch me, which is good fun too!

I hope to see you all soon again in my store.

Love always,
Angel

Dear Fans,

I am exhausted, but oh so happy!! My Grand Opening was a huge success! I have never seen so many friends in one day. I made many new friends, as you can see from my pictures, and many old friends dropped by to congratulate me on opening my own store. I am on top of the world, baby!

I do think that I am going to long long nap now. My paws hurt from working the cash register. People were buying Tie Dye, Wind Chimes, Soaps, Oils, and getting their Chakras read. Everybody just loves me and my store. Purrrr...

Goodnight,
Angel

Angel & Troup

Dear Friends,

On Sunday I had a visit from the Girl Scouts. Can you believe it - I'm even popular with them! You know, On Sunday's I usually do a little yoga, a little meditation, maybe a little extra work on my fur. But it was so much fun having the girls spend the afternoon with me, that I didn't even mind skipping my Sunday pedicure!

Courtney, Devon, Erin, Jackie and Katie came to see me. There were some adult four leggers with them, but I left the adults to Lisa and Edwin while the girls and me made some prayer flags (I think they mostly wrote prayers about me on their flags!) Lisa gave them all Angel Card Readings. I have no idea why she calls them "Angel Card" readings when there is not one picture of me on any one of those cards and I'm not the one reading them. Go figure!

After they were all finished at the shop they invited me to have a late lunch with them, but I had to decline. I had plans with Lucille. I just love Lucille's soft pink fur. Did I ever tell you that she's a whale? Yea, my little furry pink whale of a girlfriend. Anyway, the girls were really fun to be with and I sure hope that they come to see me again soon!

Love,
Angel

Angel & Natalie

Dear Fans,

The mailman finally brought me my Himalayan salt lamps today. I have been waiting for them. You should feel the difference in my store. Besides the lovely aromas, the air in my store is so clean now. There is nothing that beats natural ionization! And they look way cool too.

This afternoon I was visited by my friend Natalie. Natalie loves to read mysteries and to play the piano. She is such a talented girl! You should have seen her put together a puzzle with me. No wonder Natalie and I get along so well. She is also a very smart shopper. Natalie is turning 8 on April 8, and she decided to register her birthday wish list with me. Now: how many seven-year olds do you know that take that serious an approach to their birthday?

The other thing Natalie and I have in common is our love for smurfs. Smurfs are smurf!! I am going to show her my smurf collection the next time Natalie comes to visit me!

I hope Natalie will stop by to visit me every time she goes to piano class!

Harold Angel & Ellie

Dear All,

What a night!!

Last night everybody got settled a bit early, knowing we had a Saturday coming up, and Saturdays are the big ones. I myself snuggled up between the Tie Dye baby blankets. They are so soft and tender, just like my fur.

Around 1.30am all of a sudden it seemed like heck had broken loose. Crazy Harold couldn't sleep and had decided to go climbing in the Woodstock wind chime display. And if you know Harold, you know that couldn't lead to anything but an accident. He is so clumsy. Harold got himself tangled up between the wind chimes and made the whole display go crazy. The most beautiful sounds -- sure -- but in the middle of the night... Everybody was pretty upset with him, I tell you!

I had a little conversation with Harold in the morning, and he went around and apologized to everybody.

My friend Ellie came back today! She likes coloring just about as much as I do. Ellie had lost her coloring design and asked me for a new one. And you know me: You can never have enough coloring designs! I was so happy to see her again. Can you see my eyes shine in the picture?

Happy Easter!
Peace, Angel

Angel & Josh

Dear Friends,

Today was kind of a slow day, but still a lot of good things happened. I used some quiet time this morning to try meditating with the Chakra Prayer Malas that arrived at my store in yesterday. I have rarely felt so grounded before!

The mailman stopped by and brought a package and some bills. I leave the bills for the two-leggers. I can't be bothered with that stuff. The package however contained the new peace jewelry shipment, which included earrings. They are so cool! I am seriously considering having my ears pierced. What do you think? Would that not look great on me? I overheard Lucille telling Jack that she thought the earrings would look really cool on boys too. Lucille by the way has the most wonderful pink fur. I noticed a funny feeling in my tummy when I looked at Lucille today. I wonder what that is about?

A little while before store closing I got a visit from Josh. He made his mom get Chinese food just so he could come and visit with me. Isn't that great? Josh loved my fur, he made me all purry! Josh is also big time into prayer beads as you can see from the picture. Josh and I have so much in common. Life is great with friends like Josh! I seriously think I am the luckiest cat in the whole wide world.

Love, Angel

PS: We lost our internet connection tonight. I'm having the two-leggers take care of that at 6.30am tomorrow morning. I'm sleeping in!

Angel & Kalil Angel, Pickles, Adam & Kaeden Dear Constant Readers,

THREE new friends today!! Woo Hoo!!

First Kalil came to visit with me. Kalil is in first grade at Montessori Academy. He told me that he is very particular and neat, but his dad is not. It was a good thing that the big two-legs were in the store to keep Kalil's mom occupied so that he and I could spend some good time together. Kalil is a very good colorer!

Later in the afternoon Adam and Kaeden came to see me. We played with the wind chimes, we had our auras read by Ali, and we played tag. We used Ali as our base. It is amazing to see how much more energy the little two-legs have compared to the big ones. Maybe they are a little like us after all? Pickles insisted on being in the picture with us, but I know that Adam & Kaeden still like me better. I am so much fun to play with!

Love, Angel

PS: Do I look cool in my tie dye shirt, or what? Far out!!

Angel's Serenity Angel and Dominick Dear Fans,

I just wanted to let you know what an excellent day this has turned out to be. The afternoon started a bit slow, so I was just catching up on a book with Karma tips. And you know what? It worked!

I made a new friend! His name is Dominick and he came to my store just to be my friend. He is 3 years old and he brought his mom, his big brother and his cousin along with him. We colored a picture for his cat Wiggs. Dominick is a very talented colorer, by the way. I also introduced my new friend to my other buddies. He especially liked Pickles (although not as much as he like me, of course). We had so much fun! I just love making friends. And the little two-leggers are so much funner and smarter than the big ones, don't you think so too?

After Dominick's visit I was so happy, I just didn't know what to do with myself. I hope he comes to see me again soon!

Angel's Serenity Hi All,

So we have opened the doors to Angel's Serenity and so far it's been going pretty well. I finally have some two-legged company during the day! I also get to meet a lot of new people. Lots of kids from Liberty Elementary have come to see me. I like the kids alot. As you can see from my newest picture, I like to wear my Tibetan Prayer Scarf when the shop is open. I know that Lisa thinks that it's hers, but no. The Tibetan Prayer Scarf is mine. I look very distinguished in it, don't you think?

I've also discovered the Kama Sutra Chocolate Creme Brulee Body Souffle. I find that it's great for my fur and if I need something sweet, I just give myself a little bath. This is great stuff, I tell you! Sometimes, when all of the two legs have gone home and the other Best Friends are fast asleep, I eat this stuff right from the jar!

Angel Hi, my name is Angel.

Welcome to my website and my shop: Angel’s Serenity.

I know: if you check the ‘About Us’ page, it says that Lisa and Edwin are the owners of Angel’s Serenity. You didn’t actually fall for that, did you? I’m a cat after all and you know that we own the two-legs, they don’t own us!

I was born in Portland Oregon just a few weeks back (cats mature much faster than you two-legs). My creator is Noelle and she's a really cool person.

I'm not up for adoption, but Noelle's sent several of my Best Friends along with me, and they do need a good home. There's Jack and Lucille and the rest of the gang. We're all one of a kind!

As you can see from the pictures, I’ve been busting my tail trying to get this place up and running! Setting up the computer, setting up the register, wiring the place, making sure that my buddies get their share of front-window display time! It never ends!

Once the shop opens, I’ll be adding my adventures here. I’m thinking of calling it “Angel’s Blog”… What do you think?

Anyway, I’m pretty sure that I’ll be ready to open my doors to the public on March 11 – so come on by and say hello. The two-legs will take our picture together and you can be on my website too!

By the way, you can email me at angel@AngelsSerenity.com
